INDIANAPOLIS (October 29, 2015) — Held in six different cities across the country, the 2016 Principled Business Leadership Institute (PBLI) offers programming focused on professional skill building at the individual level, while allowing for the opportunity to network with other members and business professionals.
Attendees will participate in close-knit group conversation throughout the event as well as a curriculum grounded in the the fraternity’s learning model, core values and guiding principles. Throughout the schedule of events, chapters and individuals will have the opportunity to discuss self-awareness, the values presented to employers, and how to continually grow business leadership skills.
PBLI registration rates have changed from previous years. No longer are rates discounted based on bulk registration tiers. Instead, rates are based on the date of registration; those who register early receive the better rates (the early bird deadline being November 1).
As a way to provide chapters with first hand business situations, Case Competition is held in conjunction with PBLI. The competition is designed to stimulate students’ thinking by challenging their capabilities and preparing them for future managerial decision making. Teams will compete for the top three spots and scholarships awarded by the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation from the William E. Donnelly Scholarship Fund. The evaluation process for each team is through a panel of alumni judges, providing constructive criticism and advice, pulling from personal education and experience.
