Alpha Kappa Psi has a robust fraternity awards program that provides the opportunity to recognize the achievements and contributions of members locally, regionally, and fraternity-wide. The service and accomplishments of our members is what makes Alpha Kappa Psi the diverse and prestigious organization that it is today.

Chapter Awards

Confer an award on behalf of your chapter

Alma Mater

The Alma Mater Award honors alumni from the school or department of business who have rendered exceptional service to the institution. These men and women exemplify leadership and loyalty to the advancement of higher education.

Civic Service

The Civic Service Award honors individuals who render exceptional service within the community. These inspirational individuals are leaders when it comes to philanthropic, cultural or civic development.

Faculty Service

The Faculty Service Award recognizes members of the faculty who have served at the collegiate level for ten or more years. It is presented in appreciation for enriching the lives of students and inspiring them to higher endeavors.

Scholarship

Established in 1931, the Scholarship Award recognizes the scholastic achievement of a student in the senior class who obtained the highest grade point average for the academic year. This student must be enrolled in the school or department of business at the institution where the chapter is located.

Distinguished Service Award

Confer a Distinguished Service Award (DSA) upon deserving member

Bronze

The Bronze Distinguished Service Award is awarded to members with significant service to Alpha Kappa Psi, a region, or a chapter as a student member. The Bronze DSA can be conferred upon a student up to two (2) times, 1st degree, and 2nd degree.

Silver

The Silver Distinguished Service Award is awarded to an alumnus, faculty, or honorary member. The Silver DSA can be conferred to a recipient up to three (3) times, 1st degree, 2nd degree, and 3rd degree.

Gold

The Gold Distinguished Service Award is bestowed upon members who have demonstrated extensive service to Alpha Kappa Psi through fraternity-wide impact. This award is the highest honor conferred upon members of AKPsi.
