Foundation Names the 2015-16 All-AKPsi Academic Team

INDIANAPOLIS (December 17, 2015) The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation has officially named 283 students to its 2015-16 All-AKPsi Academic Team. The team honors students who maintain excellence in academic standing while making positive contributions to their campus and community.

From among the team members, eight outstanding individuals will be selected as team captains and receive educational grants from the foundation. This is the 18th year the foundation has sponsored the All-AKPsi Academic Team.

Remembering Brothers Who Fell Victim on September 11

NEW YORK CITY (September 12, 2015) – Yesterday marked the 14th anniversary of September 11, 2001, which will be forever etched into history as a day of shock and tragedy.

Three brothers of Alpha Kappa Psi were lost during the attacks on September 11th, Thomas E. Burnett, Minnesota ’85, Jayceryll M. de Chavez, Rutgers ’98-Life and David H. Winton, Fordham ’91.

Volunteers Receive Silver Distinguished Service Award

NORFOLK, VIRGINIA – Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently awarded the Silver Distinguished Service Award (DSA) to four deserving individuals during the 2015 Convention. The Silver Distinguished Service Award is presented for the recipient’s service as an alumnus, faculty or honorary member.

Alpha Kappa Psi Hosts 14th Annual Academy

INDIANAPOLIS — In late-June, the twenty brothers selected as the 2015 Academy Fellows traveled to Morgantown, Indiana for an intensive, distraction free, leadership retreat. The secluded setting of the Academy allowed for their unhindered growth, as they opened themselves up to new ideas and experiences.
