NAPLES, FLORIDA (September 29, 2015) — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently granted an alumni charter to the Paradise Coast Alumni.
The 110th alumni chapter to charter, efforts came from 15 alumni members representing a variety of collegiate chapters. The Paradise Coast Alumni Chapter, located in Naples, FL, became a part of the largest network of alumni chapters in any state.
In a chartering petition letter, Chapter President Judith Gachelin, Central Florida ‘09 stated how the alumni chapter “fosters a strong relationship of brothers with a diverse range of backgrounds, occupations, and generations.”
Led by Gachelin, the group has plans to serve as a central alumni chapter in the Southwest Florida area and seek to expand and establish collegiate chapters in the nearby colleges and universities. They will help re-engage alumni through supporting future expansion efforts, hosting events, and serving as a local point of contact.
