In a chartering petition letter, chapter president Stephen Smith, Florida ‘86 – Life stated how the alumni chapter “represents different career fields in business and come from different cultures, yet our bonds of brotherhood are very strong.” As the second international alumni chapter to charter in fraternal history, the melting pot of members in a new global territory will help further advance the fraternity’s vision for years to come.
Led by Smith, the group has plans to serve as a connection for all members that visit or live in the region. They will help re-engage alumni who were once isolated by their geographic location through supporting future expansion efforts, hosting events, and serving as a local point of contact.
