Last week, alumni member Steven Kaczmarczyk and other Orlando citizens took action when they heard the screams of a woman who had just been pinned under a truck.
He was a block away when he saw a man holding his children and heard the woman screaming, but he immediately took action and came to her aid. “Instinct took over and I just floored it 100 yards, parked my car and jumped out,” said Kaczmarczyk in an interview with WFTV.
With nearly 10 people from stores in the vicinity helping out, the group was able to lift the car off the woman and she was taken directly to the hospital.
