INDIANAPOLIS (June 7, 2016) — Alpha Kappa Psi recently hired two chapter educational resource coordinators to join the Heritage Center’s staff, Alec Morand, Loyola Marymount ’13 and Alexandra Ochs, Ball State ‘14.

Alec Morand, as a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University with Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and minors in Environmental Studies and Political Science, will serve as the new Area I resource coordinator. Morand has grown from her professional experiences with AKPsi and is excited to support chapter across the country, “I admire and embrace our mission of developing principled business leaders and promoting brotherhood. It is a mission I hold dear having seen the tremendous benefits to the individual and our society.” |

Alexandra Ochs is a recent graduate of Ball State University with a Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management. “I look forward to helping fellow brothers and their chapters provide the best experience possible to their members,” said Ochs. “I hope to gain a thorough understanding of chapters’ needs so that I can be a valuable resource for students, alumni, and volunteers. Finally, I hope to continue strengthening my bond to the fraternity by being a part of the Heritage Center staff.” Ochs will be serving as the new Area IV resource coordinator. |
The role of the resource coordinator includes matching resources to fit the needs of collegiate chapters. These individuals serve as a chapter liaison to provide support to chapter development and operations and collaborate with regional volunteers as an additional layer of support.
The chapter educational resource coordinators are a part of the Student Services department. Morand and Ochs will work closely with Cady E. Tabeling, Southern Indiana ’11 – Life and Kortney Petry, Ball State ‘14 who currently serve as the resource coordinators for Areas II and III respectively.
