Stephanie has also volunteered as the section director for San Diego. Currently, Stephanie is working on her doctorate degree in organizational leadership studies and teaches undergraduate leadership courses at the University of San Diego. Not always a career academic, she previously worked in human resources and recruiting. Stephanie’s an avid traveler has visited more than twenty countries. She also enjoys spending time exploring San Diego with her dog, Phoebe. |
“I would like to thank the board of directors and Alexander for their confidence in me and I hope that I can meet up to the challenge,” said Kropacek. The area vice presidents are tasked with the administrative oversight of specific regions and regional directors. They also partner with the fraternity staff in executing the tactical direction of fraternity operations based on strategic guidance from the board of directors.
The regional director is a volunteer position charged with working closely with the area vice president and chapter educational resource coordinator to ensure a quality student experience through effective chapter operations. “I am honored to be the new desert southwest regional director,” Van Dellen said. “As the former section director for San Diego, I have relished getting to know students and volunteers in the region. I hope to continue to support students in becoming premiere business leaders in their organizations and communities.” The regional director is the first line supervisor of chapter advisors and section directors in a specific geographical area.
Andre will take over the Area II vice president position from Gregory Q. Patterson, Northwood ’02 effective August 1. Stephanie will take over the regional director position effective immediately from Michael J. Schmidt, Chapman ’00-Life.
