PITTSBURGH — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently granted an alumni charter to the re-established Golden Triangle Alumni in the Pittsburgh area.
Originally the fourth chartered alumni chapter, revitalization efforts came from nearly 20 alumni members representing a variety of collegiate chapters. Since its re-formation in December 2014, the alumni group held a number of recruitment, networking and socialization events.
In a chartering petition letter, the alumni chapter’s executive board stated how its objective and goals are aligned with Alpha Kappa Psi founding purpose, “We intend to carry out our mission by embracing the Alpha Kappa Psi brotherhood that has carried us through to our alumni years, and continuing to united alumni brothers for years to come.”
Led by chapter president William (Bill) Winkeler, Pittsburgh ’11, the group has plans for co – sponsored professional and social events with local collegiate chapters in the upcoming months.
