PHILADELPHIA – Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently established a colony at Saint Joseph’s University.
Led by the initial efforts of Timothy Brandt (colony president) and Samantha Zimmerman (colony VP of membership) who saw an opportunity to bring the values of Alpha Kappa Psi to Saint Joseph’s University, 90 students established a new colony on February 5. During the colonization period, the students will host various professional, service-related, fundraising and social events. Through their experience, the students will continue to grow as a group and develop skills that will easily translate to their professional career.
For 160 years, Saint Joseph’s University has advanced the professional and personal ambitions of men and women by providing a rigorous Jesuit education – one that demands high achievement, expands knowledge, deepens understanding, stresses effective reasoning and communication, develops moral and spiritual character, and imparts enduring pride.
