Alexander Hambleton, CFV, Lock Haven ’02 – Life
Alpha Kappa Psi is pleased to announce the appointment of the second fraternity manager, Alexander Hambleton CFV, Lock Haven ’02-Life as the new Fraternity Manager for Strategic Operational Planning (FM-SOP). Alex was initiated into the Xi Pi Chapter at Lock Haven University (Lock Haven, PA) in 2002.
Alex served the chapter in many positions including two terms as President and one term as a Vice-President. After graduation in 2007, he immediately started his volunteer career in the former Eastern Region, now the Atlantic Metro Region. For the past decade, he’s volunteered as a Chapter Advisor and Section Director. He is a charter member of the Greater Philadelphia Alumni Chapter and served two terms as Vice President and two terms as President. Alex was awarded a Silver DSA at this past summer’s Convention in Las Vegas.
Alex has a BA in Business Administration and Accounting, with minors in Political Science and Philosophy. He earned his MA in Philosophy from West Chester University in 2012. Alex still resides in the Philly suburbs and works for Infor, the first industry-focused cloud company, in their Cloud Operations Engineering & Security business unit.

I am excited to work with my fellow volunteers to prepare and plan for what the future Management Team may look like and how to ensure continued success, while being adaptable to changes in the academic and business environments.”
The Fraternity Manager for Strategic Operational Planning is responsible for bridging the gap between the MT’s day-to-day responsibilities and posturing the entire volunteer enterprise to pivot to the AKPsi of the future, as outlined in the Strategic Plan and in concert with the Leadership Pathway.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Alpha Kappa Psi Board of Directors recently appointed Jasmine Chery as regional director of the Atlantic Gulf Coast region. The appointment will take effect immediately.
Atlantic Gulf Coast Regional Director
Jasmine Chery, University of Central Florida ’09 – Life
Jasmine Chery was initiated in fall of 2009 at the Nu Chi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi. She has been committed to the growth of the fraternity and chapters in the Atlantic Gulf Coast region. From assisting in the installation of chapters, serving as an advisor, and even volunteering at fraternal events, Jasmine has always shown a desire to serve. Professionally, she leads a classroom of eager elementary students in their endeavors to learn to read. In her free time she mentors and tutors disadvantaged youth.
The regional director is a volunteer position charged with working closely with the area vice president and chapter educational resource coordinator to ensure a quality student experience through effective chapter operations. The regional director is the first line supervisor of chapter advisors and section directors in a specific geographical area.
