Alpha Kappa Psi is hiring! A newly created position, Associate Director of Education, is an entry-level position which assists the Director of Education with the Fraternity’s educational programs and initiatives through development of the Fraternity’s resources and online educational programs. The Associate Director will oversee the expansion and enhancement of several programs and resources including the web-based educational programs and resources, officer training, and the pledge education program to name a few. The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation has officially named 370 students to its 2014-15 All-AKPsi Academic Team. The team honors students who maintain excellence in academic standing while making positive contributions to their campus and community.

INDIANAPOLIS — Nearly 40 members met in Indianapolis on December 6 for the Fraternity Ritual Team training. The inaugural Fraternity Ritual Team members were certified to manage, educate and execute fraternity rituals in compliance with risk management policies and in keeping with traditions.

The Fraternity Board of Directors is composed of nine alumni members elected by the delegates from all chapters for terms of three years. The board then elects its officers who are the chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary. The responsibility of the board of directors is to set policies and procedures that will guide the fraternity into the future. It acts as the supreme governing body of the fraternity between meetings of the Chapter Congress.
