The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation is pleased to announce the eight team captains for this year’s All-AKPsi Academic Team. From the 370 juniors and seniors named to the team in December, these eight co-captains have been selected to represent the team and will each receive $250 educational grants from the foundation:
- Aashima Gupta, Maryland ‘13
- Marisa Kallenberger, Northeastern ‘14
- Andrew Keaveney, Drexel ‘11
- Cassidy Leventhal, Columbia ‘13
- Madeline Mills, Loyola ‘13
- Matthew Shaver, Ohio State ‘13
- Amanda Wolosz, Alabama ‘12
- Sarah Yoder, North Carolina–Charlotte ‘12
Each year the All-AKPsi Academic Team honors individuals who balance academics with leadership in their chapters and communities. To apply, students need to be juniors or seniors and have GPAs of 3.50 or higher.
The foundation extends its gratitude to this year’s selection committee which had the monumental task of narrowing the list of 370 individuals down to eight team captains: Liz Akert, Nebraska ‘08; Elise Andrews, Southern Indiana ‘07; Kyle Bunch, Western Kentucky ’02-Life; Paul Calderon, Florida International ‘08; Jason Eggert, Wisconsin-Milwaukee ‘08; Kelly Fineman, Murray State ‘04; Cassie Reeder, UTSA ‘04; Alan Siktberg, Ball State ’02-Life; Carley Stieg, Drake ‘08; and Tim Tanis, Northern Michigan ’02-Life.
