LOUISVILLE — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently granted an alumni charter to the Bluegrass Alumni in the Louisville area.
The 108th alumni chapter to charter, efforts came from more than 20 alumni members representing a variety of collegiate chapters. The alumni group held a number of recruitment, networking and socialization events.
Referencing the first four lines of Alpha Kappa Psi’s creed, the alumni chapter’s executive board expressed its resonance with the group’s objectives and goals. In a chartering petition letter, they stated how “these three lines of the creed are simple words that our colony has used to shape the experience we wish to offer brothers in the Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky area.”
Led by chapter president Diane Haag, Boston ’07 – Life, the group has plans to eventually grow enough in size that the group can split itself to better accommodate members in both the Louisville and Lexington areas.
