[Noblesville, IN] — [February 26, 2025] — Alpha Kappa Psi is pleased to announce the results of its latest board election, welcoming two new directors and one returning member to the Board of Directors. Each will serve a three-year term beginning in August.
Newly-Elected Directors
Tana (Dippolito) Heer and Greg Taylor have been elected as new board members, and Luke Bottoroff has been re-elected for a second term.
Tana Heer brings a wealth of experience in business strategy and human resource management. As a dedicated professional with an extensive background in organizational development and talent management, she has a passion for fostering organizational growth and operational excellence. She was initiated into Alpha Kappa Psi at the University of Buffalo where she earned a BS in human resource management, and she holds a master’s degree in HRM from Georgetown University.
Greg Taylor is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in finance, business development, and digital marketing. Greg brings valuable entrepreneurial expertise to the board in the areas of product development, marketing, and adoption. His commitment to sound financial practices and nonprofit success will be an asset to the board. Greg was initiated into Alpha Kappa Psi at Howard University where he earned a BA in journalism, and he has an MS in Global Entrepreneurial management from IQS Barcelona, Fu Jen Catholic University, and University of San Francisco.
Luke Bottoroff has been re-elected to serve a second three-year term. During his tenure, Luke has been instrumental in advancing key initiatives that align with our mission. His continued leadership as general counsel for Alpha Kappa Psi remains critical for the organization. Luke was initiated into Alpha Kappa Psi at Virginia Tech where he earned a BS in business management, and he holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Nashville School of Law.
Outgoing Directors Retiring from Board Service
Alpha Kappa Psi would also like to thank Debbie Barrett and Mike Dickson, who have completed their board service. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to the mission and vision have been invaluable over their six years of service on the board.
Debbie has been a trusted advisor in all areas of human resources, governance, and volunteer relations. She has also provided key insight into AKPsi’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. Mike has held essential leadership roles, serving on the executive committee for several years and serving as chair of the board 2022-23.
The Role of the Board
As a nonprofit organization, the AKPsi Board of Directors plays a critical role in shaping our strategic direction, ensuring financial oversight, and supporting the organization’s mission. Board members provide corporate and operational guidance, contribute their expertise, and advocate for the organization’s growth and impact.
