The re-chartering was directed by Area II Vice President Gregory Patterson, Northwood ’02 with 39 new students initiated as members. This revitalization marks efforts of the Beta Omicron Chapter which originally lasted 54 years after chartering in 1941.
INDIANAPOLIS — The 2014-15 fiscal year marked another successful year of expansion for Alpha Kappa Psi. Efforts resulted in the installations of two collegiate chapters and six alumni chapters. Most notably, the fraternity further expanded its global presence. Within exactly 71 days of each other, Alpha Kappa Psi chartered its first two international alumni chapters in fraternal history. Three student colonies and five alumni colonies were also established this past year.
DETROIT — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently established a colony at Wayne State University.
The colonization marks revitalization efforts of the Beta Omicron Chapter which originally lasted 54 years after chartering in 1941. During the colonization period, the students will host various professional, service-related, fundraising and social events. Through their experience, the students will develop skills that will easily translate to their professional career.
