Foundation Names 2015-16 Scholarship Recipients

INDIANAPOLIS –The Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation has named 41 scholarship recipients for the upcoming 2015-16 academic year. More than $35,000 is being presented in grants in amounts ranging from $500 to $1,900.

Beta Omicron Colonizes at Wayne State University

DETROIT — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently established a colony at Wayne State University.

The colonization marks revitalization efforts of the Beta Omicron Chapter which originally lasted 54 years after chartering in 1941. During the colonization period, the students will host various professional, service-related, fundraising and social events. Through their experience, the students will develop skills that will easily translate to their professional career.

The Chi Lambda Chapter Installs at Edinboro University

EDINBORO, PENNSYLVANIA — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently granted its 356th collegiate charter to the students of Edinboro University.

The installation of the newest chapter, known as the Chi Lambda Chapter, was directed by Fraternity Executive Vice President Kerri M. Dickson, Washington State ’02 – Life, with 42 new students initiated as members.

The Chi Mu Chapter Installs at Sacred Heart University

FAIRFIELD, CONNECTICUT — Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently granted its 355th collegiate charter to the students of Sacred Heart University.

The installation was directed by Fraternity President Alexander T. Sultan, San Diego State ’93 – Life, with 56 new students initiated into membership.
