INDIANAPOLIS (November 29, 2016) – Alpha Kappa Psi, the largest international professional business fraternity, recently established a colony at Queen Mary University of London.
Students at Queen Mary, Daniel Bui ’16, Elena Burykina ’16, and Klara Klarowicz ’16 studied in the U.S. in the spring 2016 semester. During their studies, each were initiated into the Beta Pi Chapter at the University of Miami as members of Alpha Kappa Psi. After venturing back to London, the three wanted to bring AKPsi to Queen Mary University. Quickly gaining support, 14 additional students joined the group in hopes of becoming a colony.
While traveling in Europe, AKPsi’s CEO Steve Hartman met with the group to discuss their goals and offer support during the colonization period. The students will host various professional, service-related, fundraising and social events. Through their experience, the students will develop skills that will easily translate to their professional career.
Queen Mary offers outstanding students a stimulating, supportive and high-quality learning experience, with teaching inspired by our world-leading research.
